The ZMUX-108E16H is a fully domestically developed SDH optical‑electrical cross‑connect device manufactured by Guangzhou YinXun, with complete independent control over the entire system. It conforms to a 19‑inch, 1U rack form factor and features eight hot‑swappable STM‑1 optical interfaces and sixteen E1 electrical interfaces. The equipment supports arbitrary timeslot cross‑connection across all ports, incorporates dual‑link and dual‑power redundancy, and is well suited for unattended sites. It is equipped with comprehensive O&M functions such as loopback detection, LED alarms, and remote network management, meeting the demands of high‑density voice networking and finding broad application in integrated transmission scenarios that require domestic‑made, secure solutions.

ZMUX-108E16H is an SDH optical-electrical cross-connect transmission device independently developed and manufactured by Guangzhou Yinxun Comm.Tech.Co..Ltd, enabling voice signal cross-connection and SDH relay transmission for the ZMUX series integrated access equipment.

The ZMUX-108E16H has achieved 100% domestic production, with independent intellectual property rights and full independent control.

The ZMUX-108E16H features a standard 19-inch, 1U rack‑mount design that is compact and aesthetically pleasing, making it suitable for installation in standard cabinets. It provides eight STM‑1 optical interfaces and sixteen E1/2M electrical interfaces, enabling any cross‑connection between STM‑1–STM‑1, STM‑1–E1, or E1–E1. Users can select either STM‑1 or E1 as the relay transmission link, and the device supports dual‑link redundancy protection.

The ZMUX-108E16H supports dual‑power‑board redundancy protection, with options for dual AC, dual DC, or a mixed AC/DC configuration, and features real-time monitoring of the device’s power supply.

1) STM-1 optical interface ↔ STM-1 optical interface (between 8 optical interfaces) Arbitrary cross-connection of voice signals );
2) STM-1 optical interface ↔ E1 electrical interface (8 optical interfaces and 16 E1 interfaces) Electrical port between Arbitrary cross-connection of voice signals );
3) E1 electrical port ↔ E1 electrical port (16 E1 channels) Electrical port between Arbitrary cross-connection of voice signals ).

Fully meets the service routing requirements in complex network topologies.
          Multi-Relay Link Selection and Protection It allows users to freely select either an STM‑1 or E1 line as the relay transmission link and supports dual‑link redundancy with automatic switchover; when the primary link fails, it automatically switches over, thereby enhancing the reliability and survivability of network transmission.
          Convenient Operations and Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis: The STM‑1 optical ports utilize SFP hot‑swappable optical modules, supporting in‑service replacement. All optical and E1 electrical ports support software‑based loopback testing—both internal and external—enabling rapid fault localization and reducing maintenance complexity.
          Intuitive alarm indication: The device’s front panel is equipped with a comprehensive set of status indicators that provide real-time monitoring of the operating status of each optical port and E1 line, enabling operations and maintenance personnel to quickly identify anomalies in fiber-optic or E1 links and improve fault‑response efficiency.
          Intelligent Network Management and Monitoring: It provides an RS485 monitoring interface and supports both in-band and out-of-band management modes. It enables real-time online monitoring of the device’s overall operating status, the STM‑1 optical port status, and the E1 line status, facilitating centralized, unified management and remote operations and maintenance.
