ZMUX-104E16H is an SDH optical-electrical cross-connect transmission device independently developed and manufactured by Guangzhou Yinxun Comm.Tech.Co..Ltd. Its core function is to enable flexible cross‑connection and scheduling of voice signals within the ZMUX series of integrated access equipment, while ensuring reliable transmission over SDH relay links. This device has achieved 100% domestic production, possesses fully independent intellectual property rights, and offers end-to-end autonomous control, thereby fully meeting the stringent requirements of critical information infrastructure for domestically produced equipment.

The ZMUX-104E16H adopts a standard 19-inch, 1U rack‑mount design, featuring a compact footprint and a neat, uniform appearance for quick installation in various standard communication cabinets. The device is equipped with four STM‑1 optical interfaces and sixteen E1/2M electrical interfaces, supporting arbitrary cross‑connections among STM‑1 optical ports, between STM‑1 optical ports and E1 electrical ports, and between E1 electrical ports, enabling flexible network configurations. The relay transmission link can be configured with either STM‑1 or E1 channels, and it incorporates a built-in dual‑link redundancy mechanism to effectively enhance network robustness.

In terms of power supply reliability, the ZMUX-104E16H supports dual‑power‑board redundancy and can be configured with either dual AC, dual DC, or a hybrid AC/DC power supply mode. It also features real-time power monitoring, enabling operations and maintenance personnel to continuously track the device’s power status and ensure long‑term system stability.

3) E1-to-E1 cross-connection: Voice signals can be arbitrarily cross-connected among the four E1 electrical ports.

  Transmission line : It allows users to freely select either an STM-1 or E1 line as the relay transmission link and supports dual-link protection switching.

  Easy maintenance : The STM‑1 optical port and the E1 electrical port support software‑based loopback detection (inner loop and outer loop). The STM‑1 optical port uses SFP optical modules and supports hot‑swappable operation.

  Improve alert notifications The device features comprehensive, well‑designed status indicator lights for both the optical and E1 interfaces, enabling rapid identification of faults on fiber‑optic and E1 lines.

  Network Management and Monitoring : Provides an RS485 monitoring interface and supports in-band or out-of-band management. It enables real-time online monitoring of device operating status, STM‑1 optical port status, and E1 line status.
