Multi-service Communication Transmission System with “Dual-IP Link Protection”
Release date:
2026-05-21
At present, the networks of major operators are transitioning from traditional circuit-switched networks to next-generation IP‑based networks. Private‑network users lease transmission circuits from operators, with an increasing share of IP‑based circuits, driving the convergence of vertically siloed networks that once supported single‑service types and evolving toward horizontally layered networks capable of carrying multiple services.
To ensure the highly secure and reliable transmission of users’ critical business signals, Guangzhou YinXun has continuously pursued independent innovation to develop a redundant “dual‑IP‑link protection” mechanism. This system supports automatic routing switchover between two distinct carriers, enabling the transport of various types of service traffic. Leveraging the company’s many years of project experience in the private‑network sector, it also incorporates switching criteria tailored to real‑world private‑network use cases, making the solution more user‑friendly and better aligned with practical applications.

Project Overview
At both the local and remote ends, one ZMUX-4102 multi-service access and transmission platform is configured for each site. The two leased IP links from different carriers are connected to the ZMUX-4102 devices via Ethernet cables.
The ZMUX-4102 device continuously monitors the quality of two IP links—measuring metrics such as packet loss rate, latency, and jitter. When it detects that the active IP link has become unstable (unable to ensure normal communication of service traffic), the ZMUX-4102 automatically switches to the other IP link, ensuring secure and reliable transmission of all types of service signals. This helps prevent unpredictable and uncontrollable latency and jitter issues in IP networks that can render time-sensitive services like voice and data communications unusable.
Program Features
1) High compatibility: It is compatible with the IP networks of the three major carriers across multiple regions, preventing network protocol conflicts between the device and the carrier’s IP links that could otherwise prevent the device from being properly activated.
2) System-wide redundancy: In addition to dual‑IP link protection, the ZMUX‑4102 also offers redundant configurations such as 1+1 protection for dual master control boards and 1+1 protection for dual power supplies.
3) Compatible with multiple service types: FXO/FXS, 2-wire/4-wire audio (E&M), asynchronous/synchronous RS-232, asynchronous/synchronous RS-422, RS-485, 10/100BASE-T, V.21/V.22, V.24, V.34, digital I/O, magneto telephones, hotline telephones, V.35, G.703 64 kbps in the same direction, and more.
4) Simple and convenient operations and maintenance: The device supports remote debugging, fault diagnosis, firmware upgrades, and other services, requiring minimal specialized expertise for maintenance.
5) Supports network management and monitoring: Enables centralized monitoring of all devices across the network, with capabilities to track device operating status, power supply status, transmission link status, service port status, and other relevant information.
The “Dual‑IP Link Protection” multi‑service communication transmission system developed by Guangzhou YinXun Co., Ltd. aligns with this evolving network trend, offering private‑network users a more reliable and flexible transmission solution. Leveraging intelligent monitoring and rapid switchover technologies, the system can swiftly and automatically reroute traffic to a backup link when the primary link fails or degrades, ensuring continuous and stable service delivery. At the same time, it supports the mixed transmission of diverse service types—voice, data, video, and more—delivering efficient, lossless performance. Furthermore, the system boasts robust network management capabilities, enabling real-time monitoring of link status, traffic distribution, and other critical metrics, thereby providing network operators with a comprehensive overview and streamlined operational tools. With these advantages, the Dual‑IP Link Protection multi‑service communication transmission system has been widely adopted across numerous private‑network sectors—including power, transportation, and finance—providing solid, dependable communication support for mission‑critical applications and earning consistent praise and trust from users. Looking ahead, Guangzhou YinXun will continue to deepen its expertise in the private‑network communications field, continually refining and enhancing its product features to deliver even higher‑quality, more efficient communication solutions.
